Lace-ups- These boots are very much in fashion this winter. There are boots that lace up in the front and some at the back or sides.

Stiletto heels -Stiletto heeled boots in animal prints is a must have accessory for winter

Ballerina pumps in neutral shades or bright colors. Look out for ones that have bows, sparkly crystals and buckles.

Wedge heels – Be it pumps or boots, a wedge heel has been the craze throughout the year and the trend is not going away this winter.

NBC ended speculation by announcing that former tennis champion Anna Kournikova will be replacing Jillian Michaels as the new celebrity trainer on the weight loss reality show “The Biggest Loser”. Michaels said that the present 11th season would be her last as she plans to concentrate on her family. The announcement was made during the live finale of the show where Kounikova made a surprise appearance.

The Russian beauty has earlier appeared on the show as a guest trainer where she did tennis based training session. There are also reports that trainers Cara Castronouva and Brett Hoebel, who joined the show for season 11, will be leaving the show and will be replaced by Dolvett Quince who will join Kournikova and Bob Harper.

The reality show which began in 2004 features over weight people competing to lose weight for a cash prize. The person who loses the highest percentage of weight is named the winner. The contestants are sent through a grueling work out program and encouraged healthy living and eating habits in order to lose weight.

Season 12 will premier on NBC in September 2011.

Lovers of the action packed James Bond movie series will be happy know that the latest film will be released in 2012. Fifty years after the release of the first Bond movie “Dr. No” in 1962, the new movie which is yet to be named but known as “James Bond 23” will be released in London on October 26 and in the US on November 9. This will be the Twenty Third movie of the series.

Daniel Craig will return as steely agent 007. This will be his third Bond movie after starring in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. It is expected that Dame Judi Dench will be returning as “M” despite her advancing years.

Director Sam Mendes is expected to direct the film. He is the director behind successful films like “American Beauty”, Revolutionary Road” and “Road to Perdition”.

No announcement has been made as to who the Bond girl would be, but rumor has it that it could be actress Naomi Harris who played the role of Tia Dalma in two Pirates of the Carribean movies. There is also speculation that Javier Bardmen will star in the film as well.

It has finally been announced that the Pussy Cat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger is to replace Cheryl Cole as a judge on the US version of X Factor. She will be joining Simon Cowell, L.A.Reid and Paula Abdul on the judging panel. The announcement was made after Cheryl Cole who was fired from the show two weeks ago refused the offer from the producers to return to the show again. Scherzinger has already made an appearance alongside Simon Cowell as a guest judge on the UK version of X Factor. She will start work on the show at the New Jersey auditions this week. The show will be aired in September 2011.

Cheryl Cole came in to the show to replace Danni Minogue who controversially left the show in May. Scherzinger is also responsible for changing the age limit for the girls and boys categories up to 28 years in the UK version. She has enjoyed tremendous success with the group Pussy Cat Dolls which she joined in 2003, and has appeared with Shaggy and Will Smith. She is currently dating formula one race driver and 2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton.
